We were looking for something different for dinner & stumbled upon Mateus. What a great little neighborhood spot! Service was excellent and attentive. Our paella and mariscada were very well made, delicious and generous. It was so much food that 3 people couldn't finish it.

The food is over the average, recommend the seafood with linguine spicy. The service is nice. Will consider to go back again.

Honest and corrected an error and misrepresentations by UBER Eats Rare to get this kind of on the spot service.

Love the steak ! Food was fresh Everytime a went and it was years apart love the service and ppl at the bar !

This restaurant has been here for so long, I pass it all the time & never went in. Last night we decided to go in & try it. We had piña coladas that were really good, the cream of lobster soup was really good too. We had the lobster ravioli, the chicken & shrimp w corn & potato & the seafood Fra Diavolo. Everything was good and the waitress was attentive. I would go back to try other things.

Planning a surprise birthday dinner for my dad's 80th birthday was something of a nerve-wracking experience, but the manager was kind and patient, making the restaurant portion of the process as easy as could be. There were a few different levels of menu and bar options, as well as a kids menu, which I definitely appreciated since our invitee list was almost one-third children. Putting down an initial deposit to hold the event space in the back, I was able to confirm the final number of guests later the week, and everything went as smoothly as could be. The sangria was a huge hit, along with the crabcakes and calamari. The salmon was tasty, the steak was plentiful and the chicken was delicious. The paella, which we've had on previous occasions, was exquisite. Overall, the service was excellent. All the food came out quickly, hot and delicious. The event space itself was elegant without being gaudy, and it was low-key enough that our casual crowd didn't look out of place. Everyone enjoyed themselves and thanked us for a wonderful event, and I have to give a lot of that credit to the wait staff. I would return for a dinner or an event in a heartbeat!

Drinks were good. Service was a little slow, even though they weren't crowded. Food was fresh and delicious. Loved the variety of the menu.
